Integrated mortar and honey pots
Originally designed for the Mandarin Oriental Landmark in Hong Kong, this trolley enables to create a ceremony around infusions of fresh plants flavoured with honey. It is equipped with rinsing tank for the plants.
Cultivated in the garden, the plants are repotted in the trolley with soil. The waiter rinses the leaves in the tank, crushes them with the mortar, prepares the infusion and sweetens it with honey. With these simple actions performed slowly, and the strong aromas of the fresh plants, the ceremony creates a meditative end to good hearty meal.
